Theme for 2026
Our theme for the 2026 challenge is community oriented. Creators are tasked to create an app to address a problem in their community.
Rules + Eligibility
Main rules: Apps must be original, clearly explained, and demonstrate understanding of what was created. Participants may compete individually or in teams of up to 3.
Appathon Duration
The appathon will be open for 10 weeks, during which participants can develop, refine, and submit their finished app.
Prize Clarification
There is no monetary prize for this competition. Winners will receive a certificate of achievement and their app will be featured on our website.
